Uses: Alpine rockery, bath water, bedding plant, borders, cut flower, fragrance garden, ornamental, mass plantings, potpourri, sachets, soap making.  Use sparingly in heavier meats & cheese dishes.  Many medicinal uses.
Attracts: Butterflies
Harvesting: Cut the spikes, before fully opened, in early morning, tie in bundles of 50-100, hang in cool, dry, shaded area with good air circulation.   Essential oils are extracted via steam distillation.
