Lavender Baking Soda Facial Cleanser and Mask

WGHS members demonstrated the Lavender Baking Soda Facial Cleanser at our Mini Herbal Workshop at the Missouri Botanical Garden on March 7, 2015.

Cleanser
baking soda
lavender essential oil
lavender buds

Spoon the baking soda into a pretty little jar.
Add several drops of lavender essential oil and a few lavender buds.
Put the lid on the jar.
Shake the jar lightly to combine the ingredients.
Moisten your face.
Apply the baking soda cleanser to your face with clean fingers.
Rinse your face.
Gently pat your face dry.

Mask
baking soda
lavender essential oil
water

Follow the recipe for the baking soda lavender cleanser.
Pour about one teaspoon of the baking soda lavender cleanser in your clean hand.
Add enough water to make a thin paste.
Moisten your face.
Apply the mask to your face with clean fingers.
After two or three minutes, rinse your face.
Gently pat your face dry.
