Herbal Butter
Cheryl demonstrated how to make herbal butter at our Autumn Herb Gathering on October 12, 2013.
The process is sooo easy and the result is scrumptious.
Start with one pint of whipping cream and use a jar or a bowl. Either method takes just a few minutes.
Jar Method
Pour the whipping cream into a pint or quart jar.
Shake, shake, shake the jar until the cream turns into butter.
Mix your favorite herbs in the butter. Try chives, parsley, thyme, pineapple sage, and so many more.
Enjoy on breads or veggies!
Bowl and Mixer Method
Pour the whipping cream into a small mixing bowl.
Use a hand mixer to whip the cream into butter.
Mix your favorite herbs in the butter. Try chives, parsley, thyme, pineapple sage, and so many more.
