Natural Herbal Remedies
Cheryl is an herb enthusiast who enjoys sharing her passion about herbs with others. She has been a member of the Webster Groves Herb Society for over 17 years and is a former president of the organization. She has learned about herbs from many teachers, including WGHS members who have avidly imparted a wide range of herbal knowledge. She has received training about medicinal herbs through the East West School of Planetary Herbology, founded by Michael and Leslie Tierra. Cheryl also is an Advanced Master Gardener. Along with other WGHS members, she has given programs about herbs at the Missouri Botanical Garden on topics such as cooking with herbs, herbal teas, and making herbal cosmetics. Cheryl enjoys using herbs for culinary, medicinal, and other purposes. She also greatly appreciates herbs simply for their inherent beauty, scent, and role in attracting birds and butterflies to the garden.

Lavender
Jackie Cassidy is a 26 year member of THE WEBSTER GROVES HERB SOCIETY , she fell in love with Lavender years ago as she grew up on her family’s farm , growing and learning about vegetables , flowers and Herbs , Lavender became her favorite herb , which is why she wants to share her knowledge with us at The Autumn herb Gathering , she will teach us which lavenders are the best culinary choices , and which ones are best for crafting , Jackie will also give us a peek into her grandmother’s garden
